"Great place to grow up"

Quiet, friendly neighbors, green yards, trees, near main traffic arteries (Southfield Road, 10 Mile Rd., 696 Freeway, etc)., good schools. This was a great place to grow up! Also, a lot of older people are in the area. It's a good mix of families with young kids, retirees, singles, and couples. There's shopping nearby, and lots of restaurants, but not a lot of typical "night life".
