"Comfort Living in quiet neighborhood"

Latham Street in Mountain View runs parallel to El Camino real and stretches between the San Antonio Shopping Center and Castro Street. A multitude of apartment complexes provides rental housing for people of every income level and ethnicity. All the apartment complexes are well maintained with a lawns and little swimming pools. In addition, there are there are upscale condominiums and beautiful one family homes between Escuella Avenue and Castro. The laid back atmosphere is further underscored by the 25 mph speed limit for cars, which makes Latham Street comfortable for pedestrians and bicyclist. Although there are only a few Hispanic shops and Taquerias on the two small squares on Latham Street itself, there is plenty of opportunity to shop and to dine. On the San Antonio Shopping Center convenience and grocery stores provide the life’s necessities. Moreover, Castro Street provides upscale dining opportunities of a variety comparable to Berkeley from French bakeries to Thai restaurants. The area also provides nice playground for children with a kindergarten on Latham Street and Rengstorff Park in walking distance. Moreover, a catholic school for girls is located on Rengstorff Avenue and a highschool on Castro Street. Also in terms of transportation Latham Street is far from isolated. Several buses stop at the San Antonio Shopping Center or at the intersection with Rengstorff Avenue, which also provides also easy access to highway 101, which connects to San Jose or San Francisco, respectively. Overall Latham Street offers a convenient safe and affordable living opportunities for people of all ways of life
