"Pricey, but not so friendly"
If you love beautiful homes, kept lawns, and shiny cars, you will love this street. Here, you can see some really great places and it is almost like a field trip coming out here. If you like to socialize and enjoy being around warm, friendly people. You probably should just keep both hands and feet in the car as you drive through. Most of the people here are into themselves and don't want to be bothered, especially by 'tourists', or visitors.

"Stuffy street in exclusive neighborhood"
Larchmont is located in the super-exclusive River Oaks neighborhood in Houston. It is a residential street but very centrally located. The vibe on the street is stuffy but the homes are beautiful.
Larchmont is close to lots of shopping. The River Oaks shopping center and the Upper Kirby District and the Galleria offer many, many upscale retail venues and tons of restaurants. There is also a Target and a Whole Foods Market just minutes away.
