Home price range in Lake, San Francisco - What can I expect to pay at the top, low and mid range?

It is one of the higher priced neighborhoods in the city. It is NOT as pricey as Pacific Heights or Presidio Heights. But, expect it to be in the same price range as Cole Valley, Ashbury Heights, Noe Valley....prices fluctuate in the city so, giving it hard number ranges, like the above, will be outdated in no time flat.

Home price range in Lake, San Francisco is pretty nuts.

On the "low" end (and I have to put low in quotations--most people I know wouldn't consider these to be low prices), you have about 40% of homes (largely single floor condos--even one bedrooms) for between $500K and $800K.

Then there is nothing between $800 K and $1.25M.

Making the middle more like: $1.25 M and $1.75 M.

And then the top 40% is $2M to $4M.

These are nice 1920's style buildings that look out onto the Presidio and that sort of thing, but it is still kind of crazy, imo.
