L St Northwest, Downtown

L Street, NW runs through downtown DC. It has many office buildings, hotels and apartment buildings. I work in one of the office buildings. It's much less crowded and busy than K Street which runs parallel to it but it also has many offices. At night it is quiet and lifeless. Many interesting organizations, such as the Cato Institute, have their headquarters on this street. If you are a tourist you probably won't spend much time here but if you work in DC you might work in one of these office buildings or visit one.
