"Traffic Traffic and more traffic"

Please someone remind me why I had the nerve tho think that I could drive down John R. Street on a day that they were having a baseball game or a gathering of some sort? I was on Madison st and thought that I Could avoid the traffic by turning on John R. Street but ended up stuck there until I was able to turn off E. Adams and head back in the directio that I came from. Detroit has alot of different functions throughout the year but please keep your calenders marked for them if your visiting or you'll get stuck in traffic too.
