Is the public transportation from Jefferson Park in Chicago ok?

Jerfferson Park has excellent public transportation options. You have the blue line for the easiest commutes, and there are plenty of good buses to get you around locally.

Yes, it's pretty good. You can take the blue line downtown in about 40 minutes, plus you can take the Metra train or one of several buses.
