"Close to shopping...and soon the A's baseball team!"
Our street is a little busy. The “2 car garages” only fit one car at best, so the streets are lined with cars. Most houses are 40 years old and some owners are still the originals. Families with older and younger children live here too.
Less than 2 miles away is the Pacific Commons Shopping Center off Auto Mall Parkway. My favorite shops there are Costco, Kohl's and Lowes. As for the restaurants, they have Claim Jumper, Hawaiian Islands BBQ, and 2 Starbucks (one is a drive-through). Close by is the Saddle Rack for nightlife, although we don’t go there. Every week we take the children to Central Park/Lake Elizabeth, a huge beautiful playground and park. And in a couple years, we should be about 2 miles away from the Oakland A’s stadium. They plan to move right next to Pacific Commons.

"Best Value for Silicon Valley Buck"
Great neighborhood for raising kids. Just far enough from major roads to feel secluded, yet right next to all the major freeways. Fremont is growing and major shopping all within 2 miles: CostCo, Lowes, Home Depot, Kohls, 4 Starbucks..
You'll have to drive an extra mile to get to Macy's, Sears, JCPenny, theatres.
