Not particularly great schools. Grover Cleveland, Bateman and Murphy elementary schools are on the eastern side of Irving Park, and they're more for low-income Hispanic families. They're not rated that well by the city, but have decent parent ratings and test scores. There's also a Gordon Tech Private High School. On western side, there's a Park View Lutheran School, but that's about it. If you're looking for top-tier elementary/high schools, Irving Park is not the right place.

I think the schools in Irving Park are a bit above average. The neighborhood is pretty safe overall, and family-oriented, so the schools are likewise decent enough.
