Indiana St, Central Waterfront

Indiana Street is the street to be at if you are looking for only adult entertainment. Along with this, there are plenty of places to go out and eat. It is a bit congested with traffic and you will encounter homeless people. If you are looking for fun, check out the Cafe Cocomo Bar and Grill, this is also a great night club!

There are a lot of great work/life lofts in the area as well as several buildings home to catering companies, food suppliers, and industrial/warehousing stuff. However, it's still relatively unsafe at night but rapidly improving due to the vast housing improvements in the area with high end condos. Amenities are springing up and more to come. There is a very ghetto CalTrain stop in the area that only some trains stop at, but it's located under and overpass in the middle of a tent city so at night it's a little scary.
