"Small Country Town "
Hurley, Mississippi is a small town located near the Gulf Coast. It is ten to fifteen minutes from the Mississippi-Alabama state line. Hurley does not have any tourist attractions except for beautiful country-sides and small town life. Hurley has two grocery stores, a dollar store, an athletic store, two banks, and a few gas stations. Hurley provides the necessities of life but not much more. Hurley is also home of the East Central Hornets, which includes the football, softball, soccer, and tennis teams located at the East Central Elementary, Middle, and High Schools. Each school offers a pleasant atmosphere when compared to other schools within its Jackson County School District.
