Any updates on the state of life in Hope Gardens?

I've recently moved back "home" to Nashville after being away for 5-6 years and things are changed (mostly for the good!). My husband, baby girl and I are looking for an urban, community-based lifestyle that's generally safe and affordable. Lots of housing deals seem to available in HG and I'm wondering if it's a smart investment. Would welcome your advice!
