Where should we live?

We are moving at the end of this month....doesn't need to be Hillcrest....single parent looking for a safe and family friendly neighborhood, LGBT friendly, artistic/creative types would be nice, low to avg income, good schools/daycare. Close to a hospital. Cooler temps are important for health reasons. Thanks for your input!
