"Highland Park and University Park main artery"
Hillcrest Avenue runs along the beautiful Southern Methodist University as well as through Highland Park and University Park which happen to be two of the premier places to live in Dallas, Texas. There is a great mix of restaurants, spas, dry cleaners, and retail along Hillcrest opposite SMU. Along the rest of the Avenue are residential homes that are ideallic in nature; quiet, established landscaping and trees, and family households. The street is generally very congested from 8a to 6p and strangely desolate after 9p. This street is a main artery through the University/Highland Park areas despite the fact that is has stop lights every few blocks.
