"shortcut from school"

I lived on Heidi Lane in Tomball, which is a suburb of Houston, for roughly a year. I lived there with my boyfriend at the time after i graduation from highschool. It is an aesthetically pleasing street with all the old trees that over hang the road. It is only one traffic light down from the community college and two blocks away from the highschool, junior high, and intermediate school. It is also a shortcut to the main road from the schools. that being said, the road gets extremely busy with traffic in the mornings and afternoons. lucky for us we didn't have any pets or small children, i would have been scared for them with all the speeding teenagers anxious to get where they were going.
