I think most people would say Patxi's has the best pizza. Personally, I don't like the pizza there, because it's Chiago-style and the crust is made of cornmeal. It's definitely not a chewy NY-style crust if that's what you're used to. Besides Patxi's, there's Volare's on Haight Street. Otherwise, Hayes Valley doesn't have much going for it pizza-wise.
