What year did McDonald's restaurant open on the corner of Haight?

I don't know for sure, but it looks like they may have opened in the early 70's. Here is a reference to the city dealing with what appears to be a fledgling McD's in 1974. (It sounds like they are just opening from the discussion of local employment and parking lot space.)

Also, the current owner, Gonzales, who has had such trouble with homeless population, seems to have bought the place in 1993.

when I moved to San Frnciso in 1975, I used to attend the SF Boys Club on Paige Street, There was no Mac D's on Haight and Stanyan. We use to go to the Park Bowl alley for their burger's and they were good too.. if I am not mistaken, Mickey D's opened late 75 or 76 and not before for sure. QH
