"Glenmoor Community"

Glenmoor is one of the original planned communities in Fremont, most homes are in the 1600 sq. ft. to 3000 sq. ft. and around the 1 Million + Dollar cost. The community is largely caucasian but has may diverse families of asian and hispanic heritages, similar to the rest of Fremont. The schools are excellent and very close to the 880 Freeway for quick commuting. Glenmoor is run by the Glenmoor Home Owners Association, they make decisions for the community and keep the community VERY well kept and beautiful. The HOA runs the 2 Parks which includes Tennis Courts, 2 Pools, a Basketball Court and Playgrounds for kids.

"Average middle class CA neighborhood"

I came to this area en route to QQ Noodle on Thornton and Moraine. The restaurant was pretty good. Very unpretentious, fast, good, noodles with traditional sechwan appetizers. The prices are pretty good as well. Unlike many if not most chinese restaurants, nothing is deep fried. I have visited many times. As far as neighborhood goes, very average. lots of ranch styled houses, average 20-30 years. lot sizes are pretty large, mostly due to the age of the houses. back then, they still got some land with the properties. large hispanic and asian populations.
