"If you came to party "
For the out of town-er Garnet has a lot to offer from great location, to bars, to beach, to clubs, to great food and true young community. PB and Garnet Ave are notorious for their off the hook night life, and spring break like attitude. Since the weather is almost always warm, many college co-eds flock to PB when they are eager for a night of partying, cheap bar food, cheap drinks and barely dressed girls. The bar scene is intense here, with each night offering a different discount, deejay or theme party. Infamous for thirsty $2 Thursdays or Taco Tuesday, this block is the 21 year olds dream. Besides the partying the beach is there as well, and while drinking is outlawed on the beach, it is rarely enforced and droves of PB-ers go down to the beach to drink away the day! And since it is mostly college kids it doesn’t matter what day of the week it is, PB is always alive with the party that never stops.

"BEACH BUMS GALORE"
The vibe on this street is very young, mostly college freshman types who love to surf and drink. There are tons of raucous pubs and bars. In the side streets you may find some nicer laid back cafe's for when the students and sobered up and need to actually study, but watch out because at night it is a very crazy environment.
