"Home sweet home"
For eighteen years of my life I called Franklin Avenue East home. Actually I still call it my home, because that is where the rents live! Franklin Avenue E often gets confusing for some people because there is actually two streets which are cut off by Interstate 5 which converges into many major freeways. Two things of interest about Interstate 5 Highway. One being that it is very close in proximity to Franklin Ave E, I mean so close that you can pull out of your driveway and be on the highway in less that two minutes (traffic pending of course). This is very convenient for commuters. Another point of interest is that Interstate 5 is also the only the only interstate highway to touch both the Canadian and Mexican boarders. For the most part Franklin Ave is pretty quiet, considering that the street is located between two major roads. The street never escapes the sound of cars from the highway though. There are a couple apartment complexes right around the corner so the neighborhood is split between young coeds and families.
