How does the rent in Fisherman's Wharf compare to the rest of San Francisco?

It would be difficult to find an apartment for rent in this particular area, since it is heavily commercial. Hotels, restaurants, bars, tourist traps and grocery stores make up the majority of land use. North Beach which is next to Fishermans Wharf is expensive for what you can find in rentals, probably nothing less than $2000 a month for anything. That particular corner of San Francisco is very sought after. Use some of the real estate websites to get more detail.
