I guess the closest would be Midtown East. Architecturally, they're pretty similar. Fidi has a ton of historical landmarks that Midtown East lacks seeing as Fidi was the first part of New York proper. But, energetically, they're the closest. It's a ton of massive skyscrapers and a business kind of energy that has some tourists -- Fidi's due to the landmarks and Midtown East's due to the trickle over effect of Times Square. They're both pretty lackluster in the realm of restaurants and bar scene as well.
