"A short street with only two homes on it"
Elbert Street has only two homes, a traditional looking, single family home and a mobile home. This short street also faces the Car Quest Auto Parts store. Behind the store is what looks like a junkyard of old cars, so neither of these homes has a really good view from the front yard. The traditional looking home was once a quaint little bookstore, but it closed down about eight years ago. I was sad to see it go as it was one of the few businesses in town at the time and the owner was very sweet. I'm not sure it's been occupied since.
These two homes are close to the schools which are within walking distance for older kids. Other than the car parts store and a hair studio, there isn't much around here. Grocery shopping is about 3-5 minutes away by car, as is the rec center and a few restaurants.
