There are so many great parks nearby! Don't miss Sagamore Hill, the home of President Theodore Roosevelt. The home is currently closed for renovation, but the grounds are beautiful for walking and hiking. Muttontown Preserve is nearby. The Preserve has over 500 Acres of open fields and woodlands with marked hiking trails. The best park for children is the Teddy Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay. It has a large playground, tennis courts, baseball field and a beach!!

I am a big fan of Teddy Roosevelt Park in Oyster Bay. It has been re-done in the past few years with a new football field, tennis courts, basketball courts, boat ramps, beach, concession stand, sailing center, and more. It is close enough to East Norwich that I ride my bike there and have even walked from my home in East Norwich.
