"My Favorite Downtown Area!"
East Napa Street offers a whole host of restaurants that serve every palate and offer a whole host of wine selections. Sonoma Meritage has an incredible oyster bar as well as great appetizers. Keep venturing east toward Sonoma Square, and enjoy the lovely park scenery.
This quaint town, world-class restaurant selection, and safe but vibrant neighborhood make this just about my favorite downtown street that I have found anywhere in the Bay Area, although I am sure that the wine buzz helped. If you do come to visit Sonoma and do the wine tastings, stick around and enjoy the post-4:30 dining!
