"Cute (Daytime) Area"
East Blithedale is part of what seems to be the most downtown-like area in the peaceful, artsy town of Mill Valley. It is a very cute, aesthetically laid out area - and is dead to the world on any given evening, including a perfectly good Friday or Saturday night. There is a pizza restaurant, a brewery, a Peet's Coffee and a decent number of shops - none of which seem to be open past 10. The only thing you will see here on a Friday night that are usable are ATMs (which are aplenty).
Further west, there seem to live an abnormal amount of hair salons and spas, which I suppose is typical of such a well-to-do town.
The verdict? Cute and well laid-out, but nothing special.
