"John Jay Park is the Best"
If you are looking for a little peace and quiet, you should be John Jay Park. The park covers two city blocks. If you are into basketball, swimming, or even a walk in a wonderful community setting, John Jay Park is the place to be. When you go there you will notice it is usually packed with kids. It is definitely a family-oriented place.
During the summer months you will see people swimming or lying around the pool soaking in the sun. The ppol itself is 145-foot. If you don't want to play games, or swim, there is a section where you just sit down, relax, and enjoy the scenary.

"Not a tourist attraction, but is a nice street for a stroll"
An interesting installation on this street is the Wedding Library. It’s not exactly a library, but a store for couples who are soon to be married (okay, it’s mostly for brides). It’s interesting because it’s a place where brides can go and actually review work that different wedding suppliers (photographers, bands, caterers, florists) have done.
This street is pretty resident-friendly, with apartments that feature doormen and the standard Upper East Side aesthetics.

"E 78th Street"
If you find yourself on this block, you must stop by Lusardi's for a delicious plate of spaghetti. The noodles were fresh and the service was friendly and the general ambiance of the street was light and happy. Like most blocks on the upper east side, the street was filled with families and young couples and was very diverse. I enjoyed the street greatly!
East 78th street is close to the following metro station: 6 at 77th street , and is accessible to many buses. Foot traffic is light and it is a good neighborhood for all people.
