"Spent the day walking around and drinking at Dixie's Tavern"
I spent a whole day on 7th street just walking around and stopped by Dixie's Tavern to get a drink. I had ask a few locals for a great bar and they said Dixie's had good deals. They were right! Dixie's is right near the train tracks so I thought it was going to be a little ghetto, but I had a great time. I went on a Friday night and the place was packed. E 7th is also right near a bunch of bars on N Tryon and they are all within walking distance of each other.
