East 61st St, Mill Basin

East 61st Street is primarily a residential street, with some small businesses and shops. This neighborhood was lively and pretty. There wasn’t as much noise here as on the other streets, though this differs from Avenue to Avenue. This long street is very well accessible as there is a metro stop on nearly every avenue it runs through. In terms of food or fun, I don’t think you’ll be in luck here, but in terms of some nice housing options, you might be in luck. I liked this street, and think that the neighborhood has a lot to offer its residents as well as visitors.
