Dove Canyon Dr, Rancho Santa Margarita

Dove Canyon is situated on the eastern side of Rancho Santa Margarita. This is a private residential neighborhood that has about 1200 homes. There are about 5000 people living here and they are mostly upper middle class residents of the County of Orange in Southern California. The children of Dove Canyon attend schools that are run by the Saddleback Valley Unified School District. Residents take care of their shopping needs at the Shops at the Mission Viejo and the Laguna Hills Mall.

Within this community, one can find a reservoir, shopping complex, children’s park, tennis courts, swimming pools and also a Jack Nicklaus signature golf club. Dove Canyon also houses a horse trail that goes on till the end of Sycamore Canyon. They could stay on the trails and proceed into the neighboring private community of Coto de Caza. Other places of interest within Dove Canyon include the Thomas F. Riley Wilderness Park and the Wagon Wheel Park Bike Trails.

Dove Canyon proudly organizes several community events on an annual basis. Some of these events are the Annual Dove Dash and Pancake Breakfast in March, Boo Bash around Halloween and the Holiday in the Park in December. During the Annual Dove Dash, families enjoy a delicious breakfast together after a nice run or walk around Dove Canyon. Boo Bash is a fun Halloween event filled with games, good and even a kid’s costume competition. Santa visits Dove Canyon in the park during the Holiday in the Park event. This event also has many fun filled activities and lots of foods and refreshments.
