Douglas has plenty of public transportation for you to choose from. Mostly you'll see people from further south venturing into the Loop, but with all the trains and buses nearby if you choose to live in Douglas you won't struggle to find some decent transportation.

Yes--There are trains (Red Line, Green Line, Metra) and several bus lines in the area.
