"Always busy and right next to Kaiser"

Divisidero Street is makes a driver feel like they are in Downtown San Francisco. Just like downtown San Francisco, Divisidero street is always busy with cars day and night. Also with a combination of buses, pedestrians, cars, etc. equals complete chaos in the afternoon. If anyone tries to drive here, good luck because there are so many other cars. There is an “island” between the street and the sidewalk that has a lot of plants on it. Also it’s great for pedestrians if they can’t quite make it to the other side of the street. With a great ham bakery, you must visit this street.

"Pretty Dirty but good for nightlife"

Divisadero is a very long street, which leads you to Castro. I wouldn’t really call this a safe street because many jackings and robbings occur here. There are many restaurants and stores. Divisadero has many hills and a great bus line. This street has many nightclubs and bars so if that’s what your into you should visit. If you drive this street is fairly fast and can lead you to Market st. Its very noisy and pretty dirty and many homeless people reside here. But if you like to have fun at night this is a good place to visit.

"Rambunctious divisadero st."

Divisadero means division in spanish and the street was originally a western boundary line for the city of San Francisco. Divisadero st is a large dividing line in San Francisco. Divisadero st is lined primarily with residential homes and condominiums. It is a long hilly st that is relatively quiet.

"Fun Street With Lots to Offer"

Divisidero Street is never dead. It's got a huge nightlife, with bars and clubs and liquor stores, as well as lots of restaurants and stores. It is one of the main drags in the city, and runs all the way from the Marina to the Castro. In fact, Divisidero eventually turns into Castro Street and will take you right down to Market Street. Huge Edwardian homes decorate this well-known street.

"Very large street with a little bit of everything that includes great inner city living!"

Divisadero Street is a very large and long street running through a large portion of San Francisco. Being so long there are very different parts of Divisadero, as there are parts that are more commercial and parts that are residential.

“Divis” as we San Franciscans call it is home to some very good restaurants. One of which that deserves recognition is The Cheese Steak Shop. Marked only by its large banner that says, Caution: may be habit forming, this very large and busy shop that sells authenticate and delicious cheese steaks is one of San Francisco’s premier fast food restaurants. In addition to the excellent restaurants, Divis is home to many shops and stores on certain parts of the street. Office buildings, though not that common do reside on the street.

Housing on Divis isn’t very plentiful, but it is indeed a very nice spot as you are close to a lot of the action in the city while being located on a street that isn’t too busy. Housing and apartment complexes on Divis are very average houses in regard to size and structure.
