Many blessings of freedom

Let’s see, the name is Constitution Ave, it must have something unique to offer, well it does. The National Archives allows the public to view the key original documents that formed the union. After you’re impressed with history, walk across the street to the circular pond. Go ahead and take off yo...

Great views from Constitution

Constitution Avenue is one of DC's main arteries because along it is access to the Washington Monument, the Capitol building, many government buildings, much of the Smithsonian Museums, and the Mall. It's easy to travel because it's 3 lanes wide in each direction and many of the lights are synchroni...

Nice place to spend time with family

Constitution Avenue is packed with things to do. The most popular place to go is definately the Smithsonian. There are a lot of muesems and the botanical gardens which is really cool. There are alot of places to eat, and a good place to shop for the day. Beware of traffic on the weekends, and things...

best street in the District?

Constitution, along with Independence, are two of DC’s main drags. Here, you’ll find all the Smithsonian Museums on the Mall, as well as the major federal buildings. Food around here is ok, but mostly for tourists, so beware overpriced entrees. The Mall is really nice to walk the entire length if...

US Branches of Government from Judicial, and Legislative to Administrative.

Begin at the corner of First Street and Constitution Avenue. You might be lucky to find parking here on a nearby side street, but if not you can take a ride on the Metro, getting off at Capitol South stop and walking North on First street to Constitution. Here you will see the Supreme Court Buildi...

2 people found this review helpful.
0 people found this review not helpful.
