Would you recommend the Diamond Heights neighborhood in San Francisco for singles?

I would recommend Diamond Heights for older singles in San Francisco. It is close enough to entertainment spots to make it worth it, but not so exciting that you get the just out of college kids there. You would also have to be fairly affluent to live here.
