How is the Cherry Creek Arts Festival in Denver?

I recently read there is a group of people who get to decide what artists can do exhibits there. Is there still a good variety? How difficult is it for an artist to make the cut?

The Cherry Creek Arts festival is one of my favorites. Always a great time. The artwork is spectacular, A little pricey for the average person but great fun to look at. It is usually hot, so bring extra water.
