The closest thing to a river walk we have is the Cherry Creek Trail. It is 42 miles long, and goes through Downtown Denver, the Cherry Creek Mall, and Cherry Creek Reservoir. I used to take it every day by bike on my way to the University of Colorado Denver, from Capital Hill. You can walk the trail, but it is best by bike.

There is down at Confluence Park, which is a pretty cool area. There are shops and restaurants within walking distance as well, although they aren't really along the river like you'd see in San Antonio or anything.
