Delaware Ave Southwest, Southwest / Waterfront

Delaware avenue is a great place to live now and is becoming better by the day. There are still a few low income housing project on this street but they are nowhere near as bad as they once were. New town homes and condos have been built and are immaculate. The mall is a block away and being rebuilt right now. There are several buses that run through there, meaning you always have a way to move about. Waterfront Metro station is right in the middle of the parking lot of the mall giving even more access to transportation. The brand new Nationals stadium is also a block or two away from Delaware avenue. Fun for the whole family. Give this neighborhood a few years and it will be one of the best neighborhoods to live in.
