"SUPER expensive but beautiful"
This area is definitely representing lifestyles of the rich and famous. Which is absolutely how it should be if you are living in a million dollar home overlooking the ocean. When you reside in a neighborhood where money is no object, obviously, everything is immaculately maintained and not a single palm frond is out of place.
With the beauty of nature all around you, you can not help but get out and about in this area! You can visit the beach, go hiking, explore the sea life in the reef (just do not touch!). It is so quiet and peaceful here mostly because most people do not know about it!
If you normally do not like to pay to park, that is not an option here. There really is no where else to park except for the state parking lot (it is only $10). Just be aware that the hike from the parking lot to the beach is a little steep, so, come prepared to go carefully down and for the climb back up.
Maybe you can afford to live there when you get older. The Crystal Cove Nursing Center gets very good reviews (and, I'm sure, a very good income)!
