"Very Nice Place"

Commerce Street is where the Dallas Grande Hotel is located. It is a wonderful place to stay if you are going to visit Dallas. There is so much to do within walking distance. There are stores, eateries, and lots of other things. The road is in good shape but the traffic can become very congested at times.

downtownK mountainmom, the Dallas Grand Hotel on Commerce is only a great place to stay if you're too drunk to stay at the shelter. It has been abandoned for six years and is an eyesore in need of re-development (although, if that ever happens, I'm sure it would be a groovy place). I wouldn't recommend it as an attraction, though.

A little bit to the west, though, Commerce does have Neiman Marcus and other stores, and is close to a lot of restaurants and to the DART station.
