"Great Neighborhood with a great elementary school"

We love this neighborhood. It has such a nice vibe with a good sense of community. The elementary school is small and little-known but one of the best in Oakland. The houses are well taken care of and the gardens make it a joy to walk around. Parking is easy and it is a skip and a hop from Lake Merritt and shopping on Lakeshore. It is still an expensive neighborhood, but not compared to Rockridge or other ritzy areas of Oakland.
This is a diverse place with real people.
