Clarksville

Veterans Parkway is essentially the spill-over from Hwy 131, which has filled to capacity with malls, retail and restaurants. Veterans Parkway is lined with many large retail stores such as Sams Club / Walmart, Target, Lowes Home Improvement, Best Buy, and many others. The east end of the parkway is very heavily trafficked while the west end is just beginning to be developed.

This area used to be a real nightmare to drive on, but recent improvements have made it much easier to navigate. Still, there is a lot of traffic during weekend peaks and holidays. The development of Veterans Parkway has somewhat relieved the congestion in this area. Since there is such a density of retail, malls and restaurants in the area, it is a constant parade of loud traffic.
