I know a lot of people go camping at Hueston Woods. I've heard nothing but good things about it. It's a far away feeling without going too far from home.

I'm totally not into camping, but you can find a number of places to go camping around the Cincinnati area. There are some great places to check out in nearby Kentucky and Indiana, but in Ohio you might want to visit Hueston Woods State Park. I know a lot of people who have gone camping here. Hueston Woods is about 40 miles from Downtown Cincinnati, but worlds away from city life. Hueston Woods offers a variety of camping options from a resort lodge, to cottages, to outdoor campsites. Hueston Woods also offers a variety of outdoor activities from hiking, to swimming, to boating and more.
