There are many paces to go fishing in the Cincinnati area. Cincinnati is bordered on the south by the Ohio River, an ideal location for fishing. You can also fish on the Little Miami River to the east of Cincinnati or the Great Miami River to the west. If fishing on the river is not your thing, the Hamilton County Park District operates several fishing lakes. You can fish at the following parks: Campbell Lakes Preserve, Lake Isabella, Miami Whitewater Forest, Sharon Woods, and Winton Woods. Before you go fishing at any of these locations I would check with the Hamilton County Park District, as well as the Ohio Division of Natural Resources, as to rules, regulations, and licensing.
