Nada and Bakersfield. Nada takes reservations and Bakersfield is known for its Tequila flights and tacos. Bakersfield is small and likely youll be at the bar with crowd but its worth it!

Mexican restaurants have exploded onto the Cincinnati dining scene in the last several years. So, besides La Mexicana (really the best) there are numerous other good Mexican places (many of them qualifying as authentic and some definitely more "Americanized.") Bakersfield OTR (Over-the-Rhine) is one of the places qualifying as not authentic Mexican food, but it was recently named as the second best restaurant in Cincinnati by Zagat's. Tacocracy in Northside offers up eclectic taco offerings, including duck tacos and Korean chicken tacos.

The best place to get authentic Mexican food is across the river in Newport. La Mexicana on Monmouth Street has the tastiest tacos and delicious guacamole. Make sure you order a Mexican Coke to go with your tacos and guac.
