The newly renovated Washington Park in Over-the-Rhine is a great outdoor hangout, especially in warmer weather. The park features a playground, dog park, interactive water feature, bandstand, performance stage, and more. They also feature a variety of special and community oriented events.

I concur with Natilady, Fountain Square is at the heart of Downtown Cincinnati and always has something going on year-round. It also is a great place for people watching. When I was a little girl, my grandmother and I would ride the bus downtown and eat our packed lunch on the square; there were so many interesting things going on around us we were constantly entertained. Another great place to hand out is in Eden Park, but the overlook areas can get very crowded on the weekends.

Fountain Square Downtown has something for everyone. They schedule celebrations from Halloween costume parties to Thursday Night Salsa on the square. Go to myfountainsquare.com to find a full schedule.
