Coney Island is definitely worth a visit for some old fashioned amusement park fun for adults and kids. The park offers a number of classic amusement park rides from a Ferris wheel to bumper cars to paddle boats. There are also a number of rides exclusively for kids. Besides the rides, Coney Island is home to Sunlite Pool, the largest flat surface pool in North America. Sunlite Pool features several large waterslides, as well. Coney Island also offers a number of daily live shows. Best of all, Coney Island is not too expensive with a day of rides and pool admission costing $21.95 for ages 5 and up. If you just want either the rides or the pool, but not both, daily admission is only $11.95 for ages 5 and up. There is a fee for parking and discounted admission is offered after 4 p.m.
