Is Cincinnati really as conservative as its repuation?

You might have noticed how there aren't any X-rated bookstores or movie houses in Cincinnati. That's a telltale sign of the city's conservative bent.

Not long ago, Cincinnati actually had a law prohibiting the passing of any civil rights laws that would benefit the Gay community. We were the only city in the country with such a law on the books, if I'm not mistaken. Cincinnati is the stomping grounds for CCV, a major force against Gay rights.

We were the first city... and maybe still the only city.. to pass a law requiring panhandlers to get a license to beg.
