Things to do indoors with kids....

The weather is changing so soon I will begin looking for things to do with my kids on bitter cold days. I have a few standbys. But I like Little Monkey Bizness. They have food that I do not mind feeding the kids, and fun safe indoor play areas with a separate area for little ones. In addition they have an art center that my kids really enjoy.

I have been to Pump it up but personally I prefer Airtastic- I like the set up better, and that the hours of open play are wide.

Family Grounds Cafe is a fantastic idea with awesome coffee- even better that they offer parking- the downside? It gets spendy fast, and for my poor wallet it is too pricey for us.

Well, I don't have kids but I came across something I think a kid would like. It's a place called "Chica-go-go" in the West Loop, 322 S. Green St. Time Out Chicago magazine put out a flyer titled "Chicago for Kids" and this place was featured in it (along with Family Grounds Cafe). From their description, Chica-go-go sounds like a dance club for kids. They also tape the kids dancing for their show on CAN-TV. Sounds like a lot of fun. If I had a kid, I'd certainly check it out!
