SummerDance, Anyone?

For the 14th year in a row, the city's Department of Cultural Affairs is hosting its FREE SummerDance program in Spirit of Music garden in Grant Park. This is one of my favorite summer events! How cool is it to come out on a summer evening and dance to live music from great local bands? Trust me - it's VERY cool! This year's program started on June 17th and will continue every Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday through August 29th. For details, just go to www.ChicagoSummerDance.org. And hey, you don't have to be an expert dancer to attend. During the first hour of every program, dance lessons are provided by expert instructors of each dance type: Salsa, Ballroom, Swing, Polka, and more. Come on down! The dancin' is fine! (And a nice diversion from the Taste of Chicago foodfest!)
