Christmas Around the World

this is my favorite part of Christmas time. MSI is celebrating the 60th anniversary of this exhibit this year. This year 47 trees will be featured to pay tribute to the varying traditions around the world. It is a fantastic time to explore your families traditions or peer into other cultures. Which is a huge increase from the original celebration! (originally it was ONE tree that 12 ethnic groups had a turn at decorating) it was also initially to to honor the Allies in WWII.

The exhibit opens November 19th. and runs through January 2.
